Fly-Together

She neared the end of the rail but gave a sharp "Ah!" as she fell to the ground, she couldn't do it today. Maybe it was only because of her injuries, and surely having new upgrades and a bleeding ankle didn't help, but either way it was very discouraging. She looked about shyly, hoping the people around her hadn't seen, and rubbing the bruised area of her left arm as it ached; also checking the rest of her cuts had not reopened. She felt sick, and unmistakably sad. She just couldn't get into it today. She gave a soft kick and let herself slowly glide away, looking down whilst still holding her arm. It was as if for a day her world was melting
